Asperger Syndrome Training for Psychiatrists

We provide training and conference presentations for clinical psychiatrists and psychologists in Asperger syndrome and ADHD to support their work in diagnosing and providing on-going support for individuals. These sessions can be from 1 hour to a full day, or even longer, depending on requirements.

Our specialism is working with adults with Asperger syndrome and ADHD, who can often mask the real impact of the condition. This can make it difficult for clinicians to recognise and correctly diagnosis Asperger syndrome and ADHD which means that many individuals remain undiagnosed. Typically, it is not 'what' responses a person provides, but 'how' they explain their perspective of the world that gives clues to the different neurological and cognitive profile that comes with Asperger syndrome and ADHD.

Our trainers are published authors in the field of Asperger syndrome and ADHD with many years of practical experience in working with individuals in a variety of settings - care, education, mentoring, coaching and assessing. This enables us to provide in-depth understanding of the characteristics, behaviours and cognitive profile of those with Asperger syndrome and ADHD to aid accurate diagnosis.
